ST. LOUIS — Rain developed Tuesday evening across the St. Louis area, changing over to snow overnight. Heavy snow fell during the pre-dawn hours and accumulated fairly quickly. As of 7 a.m., the heaviest snow totals were south of the St. Louis area, with most locations picking up 4-8 inches there.
