The acting head of the Missouri Department of Economic Development is leaving to become the chief business attraction officer for Greater St. Louis Inc. Maggie Kost, who will join Greater St. Louis in late June, has worked at the state economic development agency for nearly six years. She has been acting director since October 2021 and previously was deputy director for two months in 2021, director of the strategy and performance division for nearly three years and director of communications from October 2017 to January 2019.
